Why God gave us all the feelings??!!

When God created us, why did he put feelings in us too?? Why did he give us emotions? Couldn't we had lived like any other object? We may not have been happy but then we may not have been unhappy too. Why have we attachments to people and things? Why we have some people and things so dear to us?

How could some people train themselves to be like stones? Where did all our sensitivities come from? These questions generally hover around my head on some occasions and despite all my efforts, I have been unable to find answers to any one of these. Scientists say we are part of the continuous process of evolution, then why are our emotions and sensitivities unchanged for centuries?

Is it that these are designed as ingredients to human miseries and sufferings. Had these emotions and sensitivities not with us, we could be happier? May be life is too short to find answers to such questions but my quest goes on. If you have some answers to any of these (stinky) questions, do write in here...

I must say..lovely piece. I feel that its betr if we dont try to question the reasons for r basic emotions n feelings...coz its of no use....on the contrary it leads to more frustation...when we don't have any answers to satisfy r rationality....

whteher its sorrow or happiness..frustration or anger...sobbing or elation....all r part of r personality and this is what which makes us so very much human-like....all thes are part of one's existence and these all makes an ordinary human-life ..a roller-coaster ride !!!!!so much full of spice!!!

Good to see your comments and you are right Neha and i agree. But we dont need to find these answers to satisfy our rationality. And in question is not the reason for having feelings and emotions in us, and we already have these and can not be changed. But what we can probably learn is to manage these feelings and emotions better. This is what the objective of this post is. What say?
